How do I get sound back on the add on extension "Check4change" ? it has always worked and then stopped one day. I have tried all the suggestions of reloading the extension and even removed and reinstalled Firefox, it was no help. I have sound in Firefox, just not while using the check4change add on extension.

How do I recover sound while using the extension?

Hope someone can help me on this. I am trying to access directly a device from Browser with an IP address. https://192.168.1.1 But i get the error : "Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead"

Usually get the option of adnaced to proceed further. The Version is 130.0 (64-bit) and even set the about:config, security.dialog_enable_delay to minimum.

I have added the self signned certificate of the deivice to Firefox , but that is not helping, since i am accessing it with IP address and not FQDN. I cannot add it as exception in the exception list , since that setting also ask for DNS name.

Ip address access exception is no more available in this version , how can i proceed further and not downagrade to lower verion to support access via IP .

I recently updated to ESR 115 and then to ESR 128.2 and I noticed that there's no Ublock Origins icon. I checked my settings and was shown to a window of installed and suggested add-ons and there I found an entry for Ublock Origins with a blue on button marked, nevertheless, I can't find where it is and I can no longer find any window showing what it's blocking.

I've read about this in earlier threads, one from 2019, one from 2021.

I would like the Ublock Origins to be visible and also to be showing what it's doing. It used to show a number of hits that would go up with each website that was open, as it was blocking things.

I'm using a win64 windows 10 22H2

This an interesting one. When running Firefox on my personal Macbook. I've been recently having issues loading sites like Reddit, Facebook and a few others in private browsing mode.

The issue seems to only affect certain sites, browsing the rest of the internet I have no issues. However, with these sites, they simply either will not load or require multiple refreshes to work.

Even more interesting, my work Macbook has a similar ecosystem and works fine.

I have updated and reinstalled Firefox, cleared caches and history. And run both with and without VPN. As well as being sure to reboot the Mac before trying each new attempted fix.

Does anyone have any idea what's happening or what my next steps might be before I go to Apple for help?

What should be my response to these messages? Dismiss closes the particular message, but it is immediately replaced with another similar one. I have no idea what the xxxx.mergenetworkprotocol is or how to use it. It is real or a phishing scam? Is it safe to simply tell Firefox to hide it?

Just visited Telstra and bought a new dongle and SIM Card. All worked at the showroom now home can't get access to the internet via my dongle? Blue light went throiugh continuous to blue blinking suggesting its connected but any inetrnet address gets the same result - "You are not connected to the internet?"

I consistently get an "Error 500" message when trying to view some sites. Firefox will redraw the page if I refresh the screen, but I get the same error after a few seconds. The main (but not only) site I experience this problem is a local news station (KRNV). I'm running Firefox 115.7.0esr (64 bit) on OpenSuse Leap 15.5.

Also, why does the search function here seem not to work? I tried searching for "Error 500" messages, but most of them seemed to involve trying to sync with other devices. So I tried "Error 500 -sync", but still got the same messages with sync in them

I want to disable the Tab hover preview and I follow the instructions per Mozilla Support, which are:

Enter about:config in the address bar and set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false.

When I enter about.config and search for "set browser. tabs. hoverPreview. enabled = false" it comes up as false. And there doesn't seem to be a need or way to save that setting, already set to false. But it still has the hover preview.

How do I get rid of the preview mode?

I recently added an ADDON that function to, OPEN A LINK IN A NEW TAB.

I saw something about that the Addon wasn't monitored for security.

This lead me to ask this question:

DO ADDONS SEND INFORMATION TO OTHER ENTITIES BESIDES FIREFOX, FOR EXAMPLE DO THEY SEND INFO TO THE DEVELOPERS OF ADDONS?

I had to reset windows 11, all my files were kept ,including the history in firefox but the bookmarks of 10 years of work were deleted. I tried to restore it but there is no old version in my computer after the reset. iI am vey sad. please contact me in [email address] for help thank you

This recently happened on Firefox for my laptop and the characters are broken. I've tried re-installing and removing the files Application Support/Firefox, but the issue still persists. The language is set to English CA. Can anyone help with this please?

I was playing a game on Facebook when the screen froze and then blanked out. Now when I try to access any games, I get the message that 'my browser does not support this feature'. Is this a Facebook problem and is there anything I can do to solve it - there is no point trying to contact Facebook. TIA

The interface for Multi-Account Containers has changed. How do I manage the containers. Specifically, how do I create new containers and delete old, unused ones? Put the Manage Containers button back with the old buttons.

I have a new desktop. I checked the box in Settings to "Always ask you where to save files." However, it's still dumping files in Downloads without asking.

Why, and how do we correct that?
