I’ve noticed that Firefox is draining my Mac’s battery significantly often consuming over 200% of the device’s power. It also prevents my Mac from going to sleep when not in use. Is there a setting I can adjust to improve battery efficiency and ensure that Firefox doesn’t block my device from entering sleep mode? I’d appreciate any guidance to resolve this issue.

I'm having much difficulty in attaching a article I see to Facebook. Its possible the problem may be I'm not using the right instruction on the Firefox options when I right click the article I want to attach to Facebook. Some of those options are, Save link as, Copy link, when I right click for options. Can someone explain what is the right option to use? And, how do I proceed once I choose the correct option to make that attachment to a Facebook message I'm replying to? There are times a picture of the article will attach to the Facebook message, but the text that is associated with the attachment will not appear? Can someone please help? Thank you.

I have a new MacBook Air with the M3 chip. I cannot login to my Costco account on this Mac. I can log in using my old MacBook and my iPhone. I am using the same settings as the ones on my old Mac. What seems to be the problem? Is it the new chip?

I'm using Firefox 133 (64 bit) and just recently the down arrow on the right hand side is missing. I still have the up arrow. How do i get the down arrow back.

There is a problem with my Drafts folder. It says that there are 3 messages, and shows the icon for 2 new messages in the folder, but when I try to open the folder, it says No Messages Found. What is going on here? (Please see the uploaded image.)

I have manually installed multiple older versions of Firefox for Desktop (Windows 10), as I am translating KB articles and sometimes need any of the twenty latest versions to get screenshots in my language for the translated articles.

When an older version becomes superfluous, I would like to uninstall it from my computer, but that does not work. Even though I see all the older Firefox versions listed in Windows Applications & Features and each of them has an Uninstall button (and a helper.exe file in the uninstall folder in the installation folder each of the versions), the only "action" I see is that I get a warning that the Firefox Helper application is about to make change to the content of my hard drive, and will I allow that? The pop-up asking if I want to refresh Firefox instead of uninstalling, it does NOT appear.

The only time I get a proper response, i.e the Refresh-instead-of-uninstall? pop-up, is when I initiate uninstall of the latest current version of Firefox, in my case Fx132.0.2.

Have anyone else come across this problem?

I get the whirly thing while it says "looking up ...". This problem appeared suddenly without any recent updating and now persists 100% of the time over the last week or so. I cannot access the menu or anything. I tried reinstalling TB with no change. There are no other apps with any network/internet problems. I'm thinking I have to open terminal and do something like clear cache/cookies, etc. but can't figure out what specifically to do to accomplish this. Any other ideas?

Is it possible to click individual segments of an URL in the address bar to navigate there directly (without manually selecting and deleting the tail)? It's a convenient way to reach upper layers of a website.

For example Vivaldi implements it via Ctrl+<Mouseover/click> (see attached screen capture)

Is there an option or addon to enable this? Thanks in advance

I responded that I was having a problem editing & sending an e-mail when I got a message from Thunderbird saying that Thunderbird had crashed. I responded that the e-mail message that I was working on was "Fwd: Memories". It wasn't... I was working on "Fwd: Do You Remember". I don't know if that makes any difference; but I lost all of the changes that I had made so far to that e-mail.

Every time I wake my computer up or start it, I get the attached error about a profile not being compatible. I did switch to the ESR release channel a while back, but I deleted the old profiles; the folder is gone and the profile manager shows only the ESR profile. I have also tried to prevent firefox from starting on startup, but it keeps happening. Does anyone know how to prevent this error from happening, or have any ideas of how to investigate what's going on further?
