How do I use Sync?
There are lots of articles describing how Sync is to be set up. But I just cant seem to figure out how to use Sync practically. i.e., two have the bookmarks, tabs etc in one pc sync to another.

You need to set up a Sync account and sign into it on both PCs so that you can synchronize both to be exactly the same.
I did that. Nothing happened.
Do you have the same version of Firefox on both computers? After Version 28 the Sync was changed so you'd need both computers to be up to date beyond that point for this to work.
Yes, they are both v31
