How to hide certain chunks of text in visited websites?

more options

I'm seeking for something like fully customizable profanity filter for Firefox. Now I know there are Add-Ons to filter profanity and to block porn websites out there.

But I need to add custom words to it, to filter it out and change e.g. "f*****g" to "*******" or "table" to "*****". Now that's just example with the last one, what the point is that I need to censor custom words that aren't in any dictionary, also ones, that have numbers in it, for example "m0r0n" to "*****" or "b1***" to "*****".

Any ideas, Sirs and Madams?

This looks promising but I haven't tried it myself:

If an extension doesn't add itself to a toolbar in an obvious place, you could check the following:

  • Whether it has its own toolbar on the toolbar list, available from:
    • right-click a blank area of the tab bar
    • right-click the "+" button on the tab bar
    • "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
    • tap the Alt key to get the menu bar: View > Toolbars
  • Whether it has an icon you can add to the menu or toolbar:
    • "3-bar" menu button > Customize
  • Whether it has an Options button on the Add-ons page, either:
    • Ctrl+Shift+a, click Extensions in the left column
    • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons, click Extensions in the left column
