Thunderbird refuses to authenticate my gmail acct. I KNOW the information is correct and have changed my gmail setting to IMAP only.
I am unable to initiate my TB acct. It tells me my name, password or email address is invalid. I am positive it is correct. Help please!

Go to gmail and read about, in their words "less secure apps." That is usually the problem with gmail and their effort to disable all clients that they did not create.
