I am trying to disable the "Forget" function that is now part of Firefox. I have disabled the ability for users to be able to delete their browsing history directly not using "forget", but now the release of this function has made purchasing Fox Filter and my attempts to prevent the deletion of browsing history useless as now other users can now erase there history at will. Please help

This question has been asked before, here

The consensus seems to be there is no way to disable forget unfortunately.

While you can hide the icon, it can still be reached via the History Manager.

What measures did you take to prevent users from deleting the history as there are quite a few ways to remove history?

The last resort would be to delete the places.sqlite file in the profile folder.
