Can't view or unblock image when gray padlock with yellow triangle.

more options

I cannot view or unblock an image a friend is emailing me. A yellow triangle with exclamation point appears over the gray padlock. I have read the article about this but it doesn't work. I click on the arrow next to it but it does NOT offer me the opportunity to "disable for now" which I would like to do. Instead it tells me to read the article, so it's just circular and i can't get anywhere. How do i allow it to let me retrieve the image? Thank you.

Hi Vallemail, the gray lock with a yellow/orange "!" triangle is just for your information. It indicates that page is mostly secure except for one or more images. Firefox is not blocking the insecure images. If the images do not load, it must be for some other reason.

Is the image supposed to be display "inline" in the message, or was it sent as an attachment? Different mail sites may work differently in this regard. If Firefox doesn't provide access to either an inline image or an attachment on that message, could you check it in Edge or another browser on your system?
