Please tell me how to undo the recent update to 47.0! The browser is terribly slow, and the dancing logo ball (blue dot) swinging back and forth is VERY ANNOYING. Please turn it off! Also, the black tabs are not appealing and are difficult to read. Grey on black background is a very poor choice. Personally, I would prefer to go back to the version before "quantum", which is NOT quantum at all.

There are no dancing blue balls. The theme is white/grey as per https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ and this is what the Developer Edition looks like : https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/developer/

Just for the off chance as your description is really strange : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware Please use more than 1 scanner as each uses diff tech. Save your Report and google each as do not want to delete something important. If need help : https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/9573-im-infected-what-do-i-do-now/

So...you want to figure out what is going on ?

And going back = unfortunately 56.0.2 is no longer safe to use for every day use, but 52.5.0 ESR is! It will continue to get security updates until May 2018, and you can download and install it from this page: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/all/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.
