ScrollTo function is now lagging and jittery

I have been working on my portfolio website, and the scrolling button used to scroll smoothly. I have not changed my code and the scrolling is smooth across all other browsers. Since the most recent update, 58.0.2 (64-bit), the scroll function has been lagging and pauses during the scroll. How can we fix this? Note the function works properly on my mobile version of Firefox.

I solved my own issue, it was a code that conflicts with Firefox. Apparently Firefox does not like a background blend. Which is fine, it is not a deal breaker for the site!

It might be an issue of laggy performance with your GPU, or it could be a more general issue. If you like, you could file a bug report; it would be best if you can keep a "test case" page live. https://developer.mozilla.org/docs/Mozilla/QA/Bug_writing_guidelines
