I cannot download any pdf file with android firefox without it missing the extension. If I want a copy of my statements from my bank and/or creditors, or perhaps a copy of a pdf off a website I have to get on my pc or use a different browser on my android device. This means I boot up my pc because I don't trust Google or Microsoft. So I get to waste a half hour of my one and only life because I cannot download a stupid pdf file on android firefox with the pdf extension intact.

Furthermore, I have used Microsoft and Google browsers to test, and both allow downloads of pdf files with the extension intact from all the same websites I try and fail with android firefox. This problem has gone across 3 different phones and over the course of many years. Starting with a low end Chinese phone brand back in 2016, a Motorola zforce2 and the current Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I am a very patient person as this has been a 4 year wait for it to stop being a problem, but obviously this problem only plagues few to none.
