Printing of longer website still often not working - just one page printed

more options

I thought having reported this problem long (I'd say years) ago - but still I have to use other browsers when I want to print many websites into a Pdf-file: Firefox creates only one page. E. g. when checking files on virustotal.com I keep a Pdf-file with the results. This needs usually two or three pages - but firefox creates just one. If I zoom it down to 40 % everything fits in that single page. But I'd rather have a file which I don't have to zoom up before I am able to read the contents ... When I use e. g. Opera several pages are created

This problem still exits with Firefox 78.0.1 (Windows) and e. g. a resultpage of virustotal.com

Hi berndleutenecker, the developers have been targeting 2020 to fix a lot of these print bugs, but apparently it's not as trivial to make sensible page breaks as it seems. Until then, we'll still need to use workarounds on a lot of pages.

By the way, I'm the author of the above-referenced extension, so if you have any questions about what the buttons on its drop-down panel do, let me know.

Hi again ;-) It's good to read that you're the author of that extension - because usually I'd rather not install it as Firefox displays a warning (translated to my best knowledge from the German Firefox-GUI): 'The security of this extension is not surveilled by the Mozilla program for recommended extensions. Make sure that you trust this extension before you install it.'
