Hi there I have used Firefox on my android phone for the longest time, and never had an issue. A couple of days ago it crashed immediately on trying to open it. I repeated trying to open it across the course of the day - but continued crashing. I deleted it, and have set to use Chrome. I reinstalled Firefox - same issue. I am not techy-techy (!) but would like to have Firefox back on my phone as all my passwords are there. Any help appreciated Thank you :)

Okay, thank you. If you trigger a manual sync from the desktop copy of Firefox first (type about:preferences#sync in the address bar and select Synchronise Now), wait about ten minutes then open Firefox for Android, you should find your data syncs across.

Hi

Please can you confirm the version of Firefox for Android that you have installed and make sure that you have checked the Google Play store for any updates.

Hi - thanks for your reply - sorry for time difference. I deleted Firefox from my phone then "cleaned" it and have just re-installed. The app had been updated and was running the latest version - I have no idea why it decided to just not work as it was working very well up to that moment - and just continually crashed. I had already previously tried to uninstall and re-install - to no avail. But now, on this re-install this morning - it has seemed to work. I synced it with my computer - which gave me indication that it had synced - but my phone says it hasn't synced. When I login to firefox settings - everything is showing as synced. When I go to open a site which requires a password, it takes me to open lockwise (which I thought was now being incorporated into Firefox - but I still have the separate app on my phone). But at least now I can open the browser which I couldn't before. I think I will be able to muddle through now that it opens without crashing. Thank you for responding
