I am trying to work out if a cookie on a web page sent an alert to an ambulance chaser for a minor injury I received. One way to narrow the search is to look at the timing of my use of the webpages that day. The History tool in Library has a number of columns including Added and Last Modified. Both of these are blank in the listing. I can see no other place where a date might be requested or recorded. Sometime last Monday I did the relevant Google search- but when exactly? Was it before or after 16:16? Is it possible to find out in Firefox?

Hi

I have some experience of this from a previous "day job" and I hope that I can help.

I have never heard of ambulance chasers reaching out to people based on cookie data. What I have had experience of is when ambulance chasers acquire data from third parties from a claims process. You might believe that you are dealing directly with an insurance company, but there may be claims handling firms in the process who may not be as careful with data.

I do not believe that it is possible to get data as granular as time for cookies easily in Firefox. The cookies.sqlite file in your Firefox profile stores the cookie information and that may have time data.

Thank you. I didn't think I would be able to the cookie activity, but one never knows. But I was expecting to find the date and hopefully time of my accessing a website.

The alternative to the ambulance chaser being alerted by Google or some other website cookie is that my medical supplier (no insurer involved) supplied the information. The ambulance chaser contacted me within 2 hours of my first contact with my medical supplier.

So I am still trying to find the date/time of my access to the websites.

But my problem is, I don't know which site was contacted when over an 8 hour period. Firefox's History tool gives no dates/ times

I see times in the Most Recent Visit column of History. I don't see dates only because I remove all history at the end of each day.
