Hi,

instead of upgrading Debian 10 to 11 I made a new installation on a new hard disk and imported an rsync backup of my complete home directory. The problem: All except one network calendars I had under Debian 10/TB 91.6.2 are missing.

The calendar which is still in the list under Debian 11 (TB 91.13.0) has no entries and can not be unsubscribed ("Unsubscribe Calendar..." is grayed out). If I try to add one of the missing calendars with "New calendar..." nothing appears after finishing the import wizard.

I still have the Debian 10 hard disk so I can boot into the setup with the working TB calendars.

Any ideas how I can fix the calendars? Maybe some configuration data is missing for some reason?

You sure about that version? See https://thunderbird.topicbox.com/groups/enterprise/Tfa43a9a92fd42368/mfsa2022-38-and-tb-91-13-x

You might try this. I have no idea how it will go, but Thunderbird has a "new" calendar file and in V102 it appears to have been set to default. Perhaps see in it is "on" and if disabling the new library helps.

In the config editor check the setting calendar.icaljs is set to false to disable the new library the new library being enabled is true.

Does it make a difference?

@Matt thank you for your answer.

> You sure about that version?

Yes because as I said: I still have the Debian 10 hard disk so I can boot into the setup with the working TB calendars. The listed TB version on the Debian 10 hard disk is 91.6.2.

I've set calendar.icaljs to "false", restarted TB but still no one of the missing calendars is listed.
