Okay, this is going to sound strange, but I am at a loss as to how to fix it. I use https://www.websudoku.com/. When I first attempt to go to that page I get a "Secure Connection Failed" message.

If I open Opera and go to the same page, it connects. However, I do not like how the page works in Opera. Now, if I leave the page up, then go back to Firefox and go to that page again, Firefox will connect and opens the page. If I close the page in Opera, Firefox will not open the page -- same error as before.

I tried flushing the cache. Just as a note, which I doubt will help, I have in the past opened the configuration page and made adjustments. That was ages ago and Firefox has updated multiple times since then.

Any suggestions? Thanks

Did you also try Private Mode window as well for Firefox.

Note that the actual content comes from five.websudoku.com as this page is loaded in a frame. You can see this if you right-click in the website area => This Frame -> View Frame Info

I tried it and it got the same error.

When I accessed the five.websudoku site, that worked, and the first time I went back to the regular site that worked as well. The next time it was back to the Secure Connection issue.

There is something going on deeper in Firefox, but I have no idea how to dig it out.

Thanks

You can use the DNS Lookup tool on the about:networking page to check how your DNS server responds. Firefox or Windows might be caching a successful DNS lookup.
