After uninstalling a number of add-ons, then upgrading to 3.6.9, all menus/toolbars disappeared
I decided to upgrade up to the latest version of FF (I was in the early 3's for version) after deciding that loosing my customized links and tiny menu weren't going to kill me.
Upon restart, went to add-ons and looked for a menu mitigation extension.
Found and thought I had installed Tiny menu. On restart, my toolbars, searchbar, menu, EVERYTHING, is GONE! went to addons to download anything else to get the extensions window; Did not install Tiny or any other menu addon. Could have swore I had though. End result is I've got no menu or toolbars and can't get into anything off those items. Help......................................... Also, how do I get rid of the ant.com toolbar? It's not visible and doesn't pop in the extensions window.

To uninstall the toolbar, a couple of places to check. First check the add-ons manager, and if it is listed there you can uninstall it. For details see the section on uninstalling extensions and themes in the uninstalling add-ons article. If the toolbar is not listed there, check the Windows control panel add/remove programs to see if it is listed, if it is there you should be able to uninstall it from there..
Hey! Thanks! That "alt" thing worked like a charm. I'm still puzzled as to why everything was hidden in the first place though, especially as I had no menu add-ons installed (I installed the compact menu thing in an effort to find a menu). Might this have been caused by the menu add-on that I installed due to non-compatibility immediately preceding my upgrade? No, scratch that, the initial restart had menus/toolbars. It was only after I thought I had installed the "tiny menu 2.0.2" that everything ghosted. And it is not in the add/remove program either. . . ... WTFO??????
I'm sorry, "Might this have been caused by the menu add-on that I UN-installed due to non-compatibility immediately preceding my upgrade?"
