Change to UK version leaves Dutch words like bladwijzerwerkbalk in menu. I do not want this. Who can help?
I installed Dutch version of Firefox by accident. I actually wanted the UK version. Reinstalling the UK version went fine but left things like bladwijzers, bladwijzerwerkbalk and various other Dutch words. De-installing and reinstalling did not have the desired effect. I still like to have an all UK version without Dutch leftovers. Who can help to find a solution?

Can you right-click those items and change the name in the Properties to the English version?
That should be possible in the sidebar (Ctrl+B).
- Bookmarks menu: Bookmarks Toolbar,Recently Bookmarked,Recent Tags,Get Bookmark Add-ons
- Bookmarks Toolbar: "Most Visited", "Getting Started", "Latest Headlines"
- Main folders: "All Bookmarks", "Bookmarks Toolbar", "Bookmarks Menu", "Unsorted Bookmarks"
Thanks for help.
Was able to change everything the way you advised, apart from the 'main folders' ie. Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menu and Unsorted Bookmarks.
All the subheadings could be deleted and changed.
Any ideas??
You can try to reset places.sqlite.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Locked_or_damaged_places.sqlite
Looked at page you suggested, however bit much for my limited intelligence!!
Give me a clue, please ......
