lost bookmarks in Bookmarks Toolbar on recent upgrade. Toolbar still appears but, it's blank. How do I get them back?
I am using Firefox 3.6.13 under Windows Vista Home Premium. After a recent login to Firefox, I noticed my that the bookmarks from my Bookmarks Toolbar were missing. The toolbar is still present; however, the individual items (marks) are gone and the Bookmarks Toolbar is blank. The Bookmarks Toolbar IS present under "Organize Bookmarks". How do I get the custom bookmarks to reappear on my Bookmarks Toolbar.

Check that you still have the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" placed on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- Make sure that you have the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible: "View > Toolbars"
- Check in "View > Toolbars > Customize" that the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is on the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" is not on the Bookmarks Toolbar then drag it back from the Customize window onto the Bookmarks Toolbar
- If you do not see the "Bookmarks Toolbar items" then click the "Restore Default Set" button

Thanks cor-el. To be clear, when I make the "Bookmarks Toolbar" visible, the toolbar appears, along with the other visible toolbars; however, there are no bookmarks shown-the toolbar is blank. When I choose "Customize" I DID see an item for "Bookmarks Toolbar"; however, when I drag it from the customize window, it simple shows a "star" icon on the blank toolbar. How do I get my old "Bookmarks Toolbar" items to display.
I have a similar problem. I downloaded to 4.11 from 4.10 and the bookmarks do come up in the bookmark toolbar, and you can see them, but they are just little white boxes. You can't see the pictures that tell what they were.
Please HELP! Thanks
