Installing Firefox 4 zaps old version, but 4 doesn't work on pre-Intel Macs, and I can't find anywhere on Mozilla site to download older version that did work!
My Firefox browser suggested updating the latest version, version 4, and the banner said that it supported OS 10.4, which is the version I use. So, I updated to Firefox 4, and in the process that replaced my old version. But when I tried to launch Firefox 4, it told me that it does not work on my system, and in checking the Get Info on Firefox 4, I see that it only runs on INTEL Macs!!! But my old version, which worked, is now gone. And although I've searched all over the website for where to download an older version, all I could find was version 4 downloads. Do I have to go back to Safari??!?! :(
