Why is the status bar gone?
First of all: Thanks a lot for Firefox! Since Firefox 4 the status bar was replaced with the "Add-On Bar". The status bar was perfect to me - i really miss it. Why?: NOscirpt icon resides there. If i activate the Add-On-Bar i can put the noscript-Icon there, but the url-notification hovers over the add-on-bar - that takes more place than in earlier versions, when the url-notfication resided in the status bar. Second: where is the loading-progress indicator? Where is the indicator showing what is loading? ...In my eyes this is number 2 of 2 really bad features of firefox: -missing status bar -complicated procedure to navigate to self-signed-certificate sites. Sincerely

The Add-on bar replaced the Statusbar. It's a lot more configurable than the Statusbar was, it's like a Toolbar - any Toolbar button can be placed there.
This extension has most of the elements of the old Statusbar.

You are so so so wrong
If you claim it "more configurable" it should be able to "configurable" tobe like an old one without any every add-on need to use
It's fine if you just imagine something new and just add to new version But it's trash if you add it and annoy everyone without choice to get old one
How many people download that add-on, and how many people don't know about it You should fix this as soon as possible, Instead of using you time to make that lame annoyed switching side status bar feature
-1 Man
All I want is just that
Your add-on bar able to remove that sick and silly X button You status bar able to grab and move it to fixed at your add-on bar
ALL DONE!
But we can't... What's "more configurable" you mean in this world?
