What happened to the new tab button? (not the one next to the tabs, but the one that you can place anywhere)
The new tab button is one of my most used buttons. Since the 3.6... whatever update my new tab button hasn't been working and now that I have Firefox 4 it is completely missing. Where is it, and if it's gone are they planning on bringing it back?

That was removed from Firefox 4, and Aurora doesn't have it either so it probably won't be in Firefox 5 either. Seems silly to me that it was removed at all, but it doesn't affect me in the slightest. I started using Firefox before that button was even added to the Palette and saw no point to wasting toolbar space for something that could be done from the keyboard with my left hand.
I mostly browse the internet with just my mouse and only typing when I need to, so the button made it easier for me. All I had to do was middle click on it and I had a new tab. Oh well, just more hassle for me...
You can drag the New Tab (+) button off the Tab bar on another toolbar and it will become a regular New Tab toolbar button like you have in previous Firefox versions.
Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
You cannot drag the button back into the tabs bar next to the last active tab. You can only move it to the far left or far right (or down to another toolbar, which to me isn't intuitive anymore).
Is there any solution to this in FF5?
If you drag the button to the original position at the right end of the Tab bar then the New Tab button should appear next to the last tab after closing the customize window. If that doesn't happen the click the "Restore Default Set" button.
