How do I change a saved username?
I want to change a username that is stored. I can change a username on Internet Explorer by using the site's "clear username," but this feature will not work when I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

You can highlight an entry in the drop down list and press the Delete key to remove it.
Firefox will remember new form data when entered.
The drop-down menu in the credit card website allows one to enter under another username, but not to delete the stored incorrect username. Every time one signs on, the incorrect username appears in the drop-down menu, but never the new, corrected one. This task is possible in Internet Explorer, but not Firefox. Changing a password is not a problem. Changing an incorrect username is the problem.
It is possible that the name is filled from a cookie and in that case you can remove the cookies from that website.
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Tried that. As I'm not accustomed to doing this, should I be able to find the incorrect username when I click "Show Cookies?" It's not on the list.
Did you try to remove all the cookies from that website?
I was hoping to remove just the incorrect username. No, I didn't try removing all the "cookies." If I do that, I suppose it would remove all stored usernames and passwords. ??
If it is done via a remember me or auto-login cookie then you need to remove that cookie to reset that choice.
