If a Firefox window is open when the computer resumes from standby/sleep/hibernate mode, the window controls such as Minimize, Maximize and Restore buttons are not drawn.

The area where these buttons should be are completely transparent and not translucent, as is expected.

The space between tabs and the area below the orange firefox menu button is completely transparent.

This behaviour is seen on the default theme and on most persona skins.

Hi,

Please try disabling (uncheck) Use hardware acceleration when available in Tool (Alt + T) > Options > Advanced > General, if it is selected.

Options > Advanced

Switching off hardware acceleration is hardly the solution. I'm seeing this problem on both a Win7 x64 machine with an Nvidia graphics card as well as on multiple laptops with integrated Intel graphics.

Try to disable transparency in Windows, see:

Right click in a free space on your desktop.
Left click on Personalization.
There are four options at the bottom of the screen, choose "Window Color and Appearance".
Select a border color
Uncheck: "Enable transparency"
