Add-ons search 0 results
When using the search box on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ it shows suggestions as I type. But when I hit enter or click search I get 0 results.

There is a bug reported for that issue (do not post in the bug report as it is intended for Mozilla developer discussions and resolutions only) --> https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=767683
The short-term workaround is as follows:
- perform your search from the Add-on search page and press the Enter key
- on the results page (showing no items found), in the left margin under "Works with", select "All Systems" and the results page will populate based on your entry in the search box
- the results will be for all OSes and all Firefox versions, unfortunately
The only other options:
- enter as much in the Add-on search box as possible, and choose from the drop down list below the search box
- use a search engine (like Google) to search for add-ons by their name and look for a link beginning with https://addons.mozilla.org/...

When the search results are showing, use your mouse to choose (click) an Add-on from the drop down list under the search box. You can also right-click > open in new tab or middle-click (to open in a new tab) (middle-click = press the mouse wheel).

I want to search for something like youtube and find all the add ons that relate to youtube and it tells me no results. It says no results no matter what I type.
I can see the suggestions at the bottom of the search box showing the name of specific add ons, but I can't get a results page to come up with the listing and descriptions of different add ons based on my search.
It always tells me no results.

Thanks. I saw that set of search options ONCE, but now I cannot get them to come up. My left-hand margin around the frame that should display search results only shows ... well, see attached. Either I'm being terminally dense, or that option to tailor the search isn't coming up. I had to actually go to https://addons.mozilla.org to get a search page that would show that.
A sort-of related question, if you don't mind. I know how difficult it is to manage a large software project with a mere thousands of upset and eager users all with bright ideas... but is there any way that the Firefox Help Page, when searching for things about a topic, could also include searching the Open Bug Reports as well?

The "All Systems" option is not in the Add-ons Manager page (Firefox button > Add-ons or Tools > Add-ons) as shown in your attachment. It is on the results page after searching on https://addons.mozilla.org/ , which is in the original question and is implied in the reply by helpneeded.
Linking to bug reports would be impractical as there are frequent over-lapping, related bugs and much of the discussion in bug reports is much too technical for most users. In addition, users might be tempted to post in bug reports and should not do so for the reason specified in my original reply.

I wanted to report it as a bug. But I didn't know "Mozilla developer discussions and resolutions" was that. Perhaps the name should be changed? I figured it was for development of the software, sorry.
Brazilian improvisation: make the search normally; in the url bar delete "= windows" and press enter to redo the search. ;)

Bugzilla is for reporting Mozilla software bugs and problems (i.e., Firefox, Thunderbird, etc.), as well as for problems with Mozilla sites and pages (including this forum). It is difficult for users to file bug reports and include all of the necessary information for developers to replicate/verify/correct the problems.
Okay, understood on both counts. Thanks!
Search on the Add-ons site should now be working again.
just left there, and yes, you're right. It's also working again in the direct Firefox Addons Manager page, just like it was before.
Thank you!!
G'night!
