Want to delete cache folders in profiles in roaming. Can this be done?
Can i delete any of the cache files in my profiles folder or do i need to reset to default? If I do that will it keep my information (passwords, bm, etc) intact or do i have2 copy them back? Also will the caches reset to basic? This is where my problem is occurring. One or more files r corrupt that deal with the cash.

It is best to delete the entire cache folder (see the about:cache page for the location) if files or folders in it are corrupted.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\
How did this corruption happen?
Did you remove any files or have you used cleanup software?
Have had 2 upgrades of Firefox and 2 or 3 updates of Java in that time period. Plus maybe half a dozen or more windows upgrades. Also there is 2 files in the other roaming profile folder; one called jetpack; which specifically has the name of Pogo.com in it. And TestPilotExperimentFiles; which seems to go back to some previous version of Firefox; that was being tested. I need 2 know what files and folders I can delete safely or if i should reset default or create a new profile. If I create a new file what files do i need to copy back to get my setup back to where it was before this started
Thank you for assist.

The C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\ folder is the main profile folder that stores your personal data and you shouldn't remove files manually in that folder unless you know what you are doing.
Made a new profile and started new caches. This seemed to work, but didn't stop problem in pogo. Just not as often. Still having problem with main cache having a little chunk in there that does not delete. I have been having immense trouble with trying to do a backup in windows. There seems to be a corrupted file somewhere on my drives. I have run chkdsk/r on all of them and even reformatted one partition. Still will not finish backup. Have been to many places on line getting info on that. Most say to switch to another backup program. Will try that soon. Do not know if this is connected to my pogo/java/firefox cache problems or not. I have made an exclusion for Pogo.com in my antivirus firewall program(Avast). Reinstalled Java. Set personas to default. Tried safe mode. Nothing works.
Thanks for all the help and time. SilverWolf
