What is Beta like?
I'm currently on the release channel, and I read that Aurora and Nightly are only for users that are capable of fixing bugs, so I don't feel that those are right for me. Beta seems nice though. How is it different from the release?

Do you have any experience with testing software?
It is always possible that things aren't working like they should and in such a case you need to know how to handle such issues.
You should always keep the latest Firefox release version installed and install other development versions alongside to it via a custom install, so you can fall back to the release in case of problems.
Currently the Beta versions are updated twice per week for weeks 2-5 and once a week in week 1 and 6 in the 6 week cycle.
If you want to give it a try:
Do a custom install and install the Beta version in its own program folder to use multiple Firefox versions.
Make sure not to start Firefox after the installation has finished. Create a new profile exclusively for the Firefox Beta version. Create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile.
