when closing a currently viewing page tap it jumps to the tap that is 40 taps away which would loads the page that i do not want it to be loaded but they are the taps i wanted to keep and also wanted to save RAM in the PC by not loading the page. Before the firefox being updated in 2014, It used to jump back to the previously viewed page instead of doing such above described.

Open a new window or tab. In the address bar, type about:config. If a warning screen comes up, press the Be Careful button. This is where Firefox finds information it needs to run. At the top of the screen is a search bar. Enter browser.tabs.selectOwnerOnClose and press enter. Right click to change its value = true

I found that after Firefox v29, a LOT of my settings and add-ons were changed / reset. Try this; Start Firefox in Safe Mode
While you are in safe mode;
Firefox Options > Advanced > General.
Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Check ALL of your setting. Then restart.
