How can I remove the Get Firefox for Android box on the home page?
Recently I have noticed that I continually see a box on the Firefox home page asking if I want to email myself a link to Firefox for Android. Is there a way of removing this? I have tried the solution for a similar question in 2012, but the solution does not appear to work this time: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/937849#answer-370222
These kinds of 'adverts' should have an option to remove them, as I already have the app installed and do not wish to see this anymore. Firefox is usually about choice, and a simple button to mark the html div with a 'hidden' style should be very straightforward to implement.

I think it would be great if there was a button to dismiss individual snippets you don't want to see again. But... I'm not aware of such a thing at this time.
If you look through recent posts regarding home page snippets, you can find a number of different methods for hiding them. For example:

Will hide all the "snippets" that would get supplied to that "container".
Thanks both of you, the userstyles that you both recommended worked great. Still think a 'hide' button should be included.
