Has anyone clicked on "Confirm Security Exception" and then found someone got access to all their financial accounts?

Hello, this should only happen if you have configured an e-mail server that is not providing a valid TLS/SSL certificate.

Another possible reason for this to happen is anti-virus software like avast which tries to read your e-mails in order to protect you from bad software. But to do so, the software must inject an own certificate.

Could you look at the certificate details and provide me with the Common Name (CN)?

I started using Thunderbird about 8 months ago because I wanted to switch from POP3 to IMAP. I added php code on our server that correctly identifies over 90% in Auto Replies in incoming mail and moves them to another IMAP folder.

The certificate popup started occurring today and 'occurs when every I click in Thunderbird'. Non-malware software would not do that unless they have a bug.

I ran Malwarebytes and it found possible problem. Removing that file and re-booting did not fix problem.
