YouTube links always open in the browser and never open in the YouTube app. Any way to change this?

You have three options, so let's try method A: 1. Did you receive the most recent app update (released today)? If yes, skip to 2. If no or not sure, go to the Play Store, open the menu and click My apps & games. You should see if any updates were completed today. 2. In the new Firefox app version, the drop menu will be on the bottom. Open it and go to Settings. Scroll to the bottom and you should see Open links in apps that you can toggle with. Switch to off and see. If it is off, switch to on and back to off. See if this helps. If it doesn't help, then we can can try method B.

You could try long-pressing the link and see whether "Open link in external app" sends the link to the Youtube app. (This works in Firefox Nightly for Android, a testing release of a future version of Firefox, but I don't know whether it is in the regular version.)

This works. But I figured it would be a no-brainer to have this as a default action no?

Thanks
