Magically? As in Evil, Stupid Magic. Turn off computer. Turn back on 2 hours later: New Tabs page has Completely Reset. All Saved Tabs are gone? Really. Who thought this was a good idea? Let's fuck with the users and screw their saved bookmarks. Nice. Twice, over the past 2 months. And, my other extensions should In No Fucking Way be the Issue. C'mon developers, quit trying to make Firefox 'prettier'..! Just make it work consistently.

Which is why I stop using the distro(openSUSE)Firefox as my daily driver. I've been running a separate Firefox(Nightly)for a few months now and have not seen that issue again. I also bookmark my tabs by right clicking on 1 tab and then select all tabs and then bookmark. You can also send your tabs between the 2 browsers and different devices. see screenshots

Give it a try. Just download another version to a folder and run it from there. Pick a version and go.
