Hello,

I have three IMAP accounts A, B, and C in a profile. On account C, the right-click context menu "open message in conversation" does not appear at all. For threads involving C and say B, and hence available in both accounts, the menu appears when right clicking on a message in B, but not on a message in C. The issue has been long standing over a number of different TB versions, currently 91.2.1 Both accounts have many subfolders (hundreds).

The global search and indexer is enabled, and I have tried rebuilding the search index.

What can I do to debug the issue? What is the set of requirements for the menu entry to be available?

Further info: All accounts are quite large. If I create a new profile with account C, set the subscription settings minimal so that it only takes less than an hour to synchronize, the "open message in conversation" menu is there after sync. However, I have recreated the profile I want to fix not so long ago, hence I know it may fix it but not permanently - so this is not a solution that seems to work for me.

For account C, are full message bodies downloaded or just headers? The setting is in Account Settings, Synchronization & Storage, Message Synchronizing.

For account C, "Message Synchronization", at "Advanced", a number of folders are marked for download, others are not. Inbox did not have the box ticked. I marked Inbox as well, but I still don't have the open in conversation menu. Inbox is still "Downloading messages" though. However, I noticed that the issue is only in Inbox, I could not find another folder where "open in conversation" was missing, regardless whether marked for download or not. Thanks for looking into this.

After you enable the Inbox to download full messages, right-click Inbox, Properties, Repair Folder, to force download the messages, rebuild the global database and restart TB, and see if Open Message In Conversation is shown.

I limited synchronization to 8 weeks and message size to 2 MB and did as you suggested. The open in conversation menu is still missing.

On a side note, I have now a message with the approximate timestamp of the repair action in my inbox: From: Microsoft Outlook <myemail@mydomain.com> Subject: Microsoft Outlook Test Message Body: This is an email message sent automatically by Microsoft Outlook while testing the settings for your account.

There is a configured outlook profile on the same machine, but I haven't actually run outlook in weeks or months. The same happened when I configured a new TB profile for testing. It's a bit puzzling.
