I have not been able to sign in & receive emails all day. Spectrum has trouble shot with me & determined it is an issue with Thunderbird. How do I rectify this problem? This is very difficult with not being able to talk to someone.

No one can help you unless you post specific information, such as complete error messages, screenshots of incoming server settings pane, and SMTP server settings pane. Spectrum is well known for ignoring user requests.
