Hi, is the problem that you need to get back to your Google search results?
You can set Google search to either open results in the same tab, or open results in a new tab/window.
- When Google opens results in the same tab, the Back button should bring you back to your search results page. If you get stuck in a loop, right-click the Back button and then click on the results page further down on the list.
- When Google opens results in a new tab, you can close the new tab when you are done with it, or click the Google results page tab on the tab bar. You also might be able to switch tabs by pressing Ctrl+Tab (this depends on whether Ctrl+Tab is set to switch to the previous active tab, or the next tab on the tab bar).
If the problem is that your new tab page isn't showing a Google search box, actually, that box is connected to the address bar anyway, so you can type your new search in the address bar.
If that wasn't what you're looking for, could you reply with more details on how you want Firefox to work?
