my progress bar is gone
The green progress bar that can be normally found in the lower right right corner of the screen is gone. I thought my screen might be minimized, but it isn't. You don't realize how much you look at something until it's gone...

Is the status bar visible? If the status bar, where the progress bar is displayed, is not visible, you just need to select the View menu, and then Status Bar to re-display the status bar.
If the status bar is being displayed, but the progress bar is not shown on it, an extension may have hidden it. Check through the options/preferences for you extensions to see if one could have hidden the progress bar. You can also try the procedure in the troubleshooting extensions and themes article to see if this is caused by an extension.
