When using Firefox, certain words are in blue and double underlined that link to advertising products. What is causing this?

When using Firefox, it does not happen on Internet Explorer, certain words are treated as a link, double underlined in blue, and if you click on the underlined word, they link to a website that is advertising a product. I think this is an advertising ploy, and I don't know what is on my computer that is making these words in the text show up as a link.

You can look at Adblock Plus:

You need to subscribe to a Filter list (e.g. the EasyList).

IntelliTXT and Kontera are some of the commonly encountered of such sites.

Yes, this happens when I go onto the Care2 site, is this caused by Firefox as I notice this on the Fire Fox home page: It Appears like this:

Firefox's default home page has quick links to common features Table of Contents When you first start Firefox, click the home button or create a new window you're greeted with the default home page. This page contains a handy Google search and quick links to downloads, bookmarks, history, add-ons, sync and settings. Also, if you had tabs open the last time you used Firefox you can restore them from the home page with a single click.

The word restore is underlined twice and in blue (it does not show up here when I copied and paste) and it takes me to a web storage site. Where do these sites come from, it FF hacked, or Care2 hacked, how are these appearing in comments that I just typed on a forum or in articles on the forum?
