My mouse still moves the cursor but clicking on something causes no reaction ONLY in Firefox. IE still works fine.

I have tried several different mice and all have the same problem in Firefox. Nothing happens when I left click on something I want to select. When doing the same thing, in the same website, in IE the mouse buttons work fine.

Had a similar problem starting today i.e. normal hyperlinks okay but lots of stuff under buttons would not work and right-click menu not appearing. No such issue in I.E.

For example, tried a d/l from Megaupload. Tried clicking the free d/l button (after the countdown) and nothing happened and couldn't get the right-click menu to open so not able to use 'copy link location'.

Have temporarily cured it by disabling NoScript (build 2.1.2rc2) . That last updated yesterday so possibly has a bug? The NS website mentions a build rc3 so will have to keep re-enabling it to see if it picks ups a new version or possibly remove it and do a fresh re-install later on.

Went back to the NoScript website today and checked the forum. Appears there were issues with build rc2. It seems to have only hit those users where Firefox scheduled a check for updates while build rc2 was briefly available.

D/l build rc3 and, fingers crossed, that looks to have resolved the issue.

You do have to root around to find it as the main install link still sends you to version 2.1.1. Look for pointer to development version which will give 2.1.2rc3
