Firefox silently upgraded from 7 to 8. I can't seem to get it to re-initialize. I had Elastic Fox 1.700016 extension installed from http://munday.ws/2011/08/elasticfox-for-firefox-7-beta-and-up/

When Heidi says 'regrab it from the website', they mean this website http://www.eaglegenomics.com/2011/05/elasticfox-aws-ec2-add-on-for-firefox-4-with-t1-micro-instance-support/

Otherwise, that is solid advice that does work.

Ah, the solution was to remove the extension, Go regrab it from the web site... reinstall and then restart Firefox 8. It then allowed me to get to the AWS account like a charm chrome://ec2ui/content/ec2ui_main_window.xul

Hope this helps aid others who are dealing with the Elastic Fox extension in FF 7 and 8

Best regards Heidi
