Why don't I have any google maps support?
I'm trying to once again gain access to google maps be it either in the browser or it requesting to open the program. As it stands if I search google for a location in the browser and click on the map or the place of interest i.e. a, b, or c, nothing happens. I'll reload the page and still its as if they aren't links.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can access Google Maps directly just by going to their site (http://maps.google.com).
I tried searching in Google for a location like 'New York', and I see a map. The version of Google that they send to our user-agent produces a non-anchor based image, so there is nothing to click on - it's just an image of a map.
I'd like to be able to select an address, right-click and select "search Google Maps," but this doesn't appear possible in Firefox, only Chrome. Any idea how to enable this in Firefox?
We would need Google to improve the site they are sending to Firefox. Firefox processes data that is sent by Google. If Google sends basic data to Firefox instead of the full site function there is nothing Firefox can do to change that.
