Why does Verizon search keep coming up?

more options

Every time I do a search, it goes to Verizon search. I have Google set as default browser, but every time I type something in the search bar I have to manually select the Google option. If not, it defaults to Verizon search. This is a pain. I just want to your in what I'm searching for and go. Please help

Soluție aleasă

Is the problem with one-word searches? One-word searches work differently than two-word searches. When you enter one word (e.g., bananas or mozilla.org), Firefox checks with your service provider whether it is a valid server name. Your service provider may intercept this inquiry and return its own search results page. In that case, your best strategy is to tap the specific search engine query option in the drop-down to run your search.
