The top of the about:cache display, has "Private", "Anonymous", and "In Browser Element" checkboxes and a text field for an "AppID". I cannot find any documentation on these fields. What do they mean and what's their effect?

Please check the link. Cache was not mentioned.

Private means that you get only cache items from Private Browsing mode and only the memory cache is used.

Anonymous items are items that weren't retrieved by a direct action from you like OCSP checks and possibly safe browsing (?). I also see some font items, likely from @font-face CSS rules to download a font.

Thanks cor-el for that explanation. That's two out of three :-) What about "In Browser Element"?
