the symantec intermediate certificate is missing in Firefox (or is not getting updated) so they get certificate cannot be verified error.

Here is the subject: CN = Symantec Class 3 EV SSL CA - G3 OU = Symantec Trust Network O = Symantec Corporation C = US

PLEASE have this certificate in the certificate store so that SSL Certificates can be verified and no error message on the SSL handshake.

hello RajuDatar1, it's the nature of intermediate certificates that they are not included in a browser's root trust store. therefore a web-server has to specify the full path of the certificate chain starting from the server cert to the intermediate cert back to the root cert. if it fails to do so, the browser might show an "untrusted connection" error page.

you can check the correct certificate chain of a website with an online tool like https://ssltools.websecurity.symantec.com/checker/views/certCheck.jsp
