Why is it that I can only download videos in 360p?

I've had this type of Mac before, where if I wanted to download videos in HD (720p or 1080p, depending on the downloader), I could. However, since I've had this Mac, I haven't. Initially, I couldn't even watch videos on Firefox in HD without the Adobe Flash download, so I got it and I can view videos in HD again. However, when I try to download HD videos in HD, I only get the 360p option. For the record, I have attempted downloading some HD videos with multiple video downloaders, all of which allow HD downloads. I bring this up in case this has anything to do with why I can't download in HD. So why specifically can't I download videos past 360p, and can this be fixed?

hi TP10, for extension support please directly contact the extension's developers through the means provided at their homepage - they can likely give you more detailed guidance and are the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in an addon. thank you...
