Clearwire tells me they will not support Thunderbird after April 15th. I am going to use DISH.net and bundle it with my TV account. How do I keep all my messages from Thunderbird and move them to new account on DISH? I rely on searching old messages sometimes and need to keep my old messages. Thank you for any help.

Make sure you have all messages local. If your Clearwire account is POP, that's already the case. Don't mess with that account, just set up the new dish.net account in Thunderbird.

If your Clearwire account is IMAP, move all messages to your 'Local Folders' account before the Clearwire account ceases to function.
