I am getting the message that I am entering the wrong password to sign in but I have just changed my password and I need to sync a new laptop. Help I am stuck

I have reset my password several times but always get the message that the password is wrong each time I try to log in to my account. I want to sync all my bookmarks from my old machine to my new laptop but can't get in to do it. Help

Check your Caps Lock. Make sure you are using the proper case.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

Clear the cache and remove the cookies from websites that cause problems via the "3-bar" Firefox menu button (Options/Preferences).

"Clear the cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove the cookies" from websites that cause problems.

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
