Every time when I click to reload it takes too long to complete and gives script error message. How to resolve? I tried to refresh as it was mentioned in solution in Mozilla.

Does this happen at a lot of sites, some sites, a few? What is the full error message?

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database (bookmarks and history) in the Firefox profile folder.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
