How can I recover an entire collection of deleted filters?

I have dozens of filters on my Inbox. When I clicked on "Edit" for one of them, all of my filters disappeared. Now when I click on "Tools/Message Filters" the Filter box no longer even appears. I have lost all my dozens of filters and can't create any new ones.
