Forgot my email password. Need it to add this account to my new phone.

You administer your email password with your email provider which appears to be gmail. They would have a procedure to reset forgotten passwords.

That being said, I will assume that since you do not remember the password you must have told Thunderbird to remember it and enter it for you when the providers server asks for it. Go to Options-Security-Passwords-Saved Passwords. Click Show Passwords and see what you have there. When done click Hide Passwords and exit.

Note: If you use Oauth authentication with gmail you will see a long number that is a token issued by gmail. You will need to set your phone to use Oauth and use your normal password to set it up. You know, the one you forgot. :)

I know the felling. I have to work to remember my phone number. :) Do not use it. You forget it!
