After forced update, all my bookmarks disappeared. It is as if Firefox was uninstalled. I am starting to hate Firefox. I lost all my bookmarks and now I have search one by one by memory. History, bookmarks, everything erased. Is there any way of getting them back.

You can check in Windows Explorer if there is a previous version of the places.sqlite file available.

You can look at this utility to browse Windows System Restore points.

Hi, first try restarting Firefox - 3-bar menu > Exit.

If that doesn't help, and in case a Refresh has occurred, please look on your Desktop for a file named Old Firefox Data - Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.

If the file isn't there, you can try this: Open bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks > Import and Backup > Restore, and see if you have a backup there.

If not, please see -
