Linux Mint 18

$ uname -a Linux mycomputer 4.15.0-39-generic #42-Ubuntu SMP Tue Oct 23 15:48:01 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

$ firefox --version Mozilla Firefox 63.0.3

I was recently experiencing slow load and the spinning wheel and recently disabled hardware acceleration. However, since then, my browser hangs and requires a force quit of Firefox. I'll re-launch FF and restore my session and everything is fine. I'm not exactly sure what settings I can send to you. I have some crash reports, but they are probably because I force close the application.

So this happened again and I opened `htop` to see my resource usage and Firefox was hovering at 100% on one CPU. I have an i7 with 16 GB of RAM and had 9 tabs opened (3 pinned) with 3 different container profiles.

Does anyone know what I can do to troubleshoot? This is still happening
